Meet the Guy
After graduating from ECU in May 2014, was fully licensed in August 2014 and began working at Roanoke Therapy Services. Here I was able to engage in and experience many different settings of physical therapy. These included outpatient, inpatient acute, pediatrics, and home health. To get a little closer to home, I eventually accepted a position in 2017 with Kindred at Home, now known as Centerwell Home Health.
During my time working as a physical therapist I have enjoyed working with patients of all ages and backgrounds and helping them to regain function and mobility, teaching them as well as continuing to learn myself.

Certificate in Healthcare Management- Yale University Executive Education
My passion for healthcare started with direct patient care, but I envision myself one day working in management so that I can help other employees foster their own passion of providing excellent care for the population we serve. I was able to learn core principles of healthcare management as it relates to the ever changing landscape of reimbursement and quality assurance.
Preceptor- Centerwell Home Health
I was provided an opportunity for continuing education and was able to help precept over 10 new physical therapists while working with Kindred at Home and Centerwell Home Health. I have been able to share my knowledge of patient care and our companies values with others who in turn have been able to help grow the population we serve.

Who I am
-
I was raised in a small town in Eastern North Carolina. I have moved to Greenville for education and found myself at home here, with more population and opportunity but also that small town feel.
-
I am an avid car-guy. In my free time, I enjoy restoring older cars back to their prior level of function much like I do my patients. I am currently the proud owner of multiple original Datsun 280ZXs, which will one day I hope be back to original form. In the past, I have redone multiple vintage Chevrolets and a VW mini-bus.
I also do not stray far from the small town farming community that I grew up in, and I take pride in my large vegetable garden that I can share with my patients and neighbors.

As I have described earlier, Greenvile, North Carolina feels like home to me. The past few years I have worked with other citizens in my positions on the Board of Adjustment and Planning and Zoning Committee for the city. Here I am able to help shape policy and work to help our city grow efficiently and vibrantly.
